Weather Service Bulletin
The Weather Service Bulletin was a pre-curser to the Observer and published during World War II
In June 2026, we completed manually digitizing 18 Weather Service Bulletins from 1943 through 1945 that were provided by Craig Kirwin. The aging and sometimes fragile paper copies were scanned, page by page, each page was cropped, and then Optical Character Recognition (OCR) was applied to make them searchable. Since several Bulletin's contained color maps, we did not remove the brown tinge that they acquired with age, but instead left them as they were.
Please let the Website Administrator know if you have print or PDF copies of Weather Service Bulletins that are not in our archive and we will add them.
